CCCC Overseas Business Department President Chen Zhong Visits Wang Zhihua- Counselor of Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office of Chinese Embassy to Pakistan

On July 14, CRBC Vice President Wang Lijun accompanied CCCC Overseas Business Department President Chen Zhong in visiting Wang Zhihua- Counselor of Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office of Chinese Embassy to Pakistan during their work visit in Pakistan.

CCCC Overseas Business Department President Chen Zhong firstly introduced the statuses of businesses of CCCC and its subsidiaries CRBC, CHEC and CCCC Investment in Pakistan, and reported the progress of Karakorum Highway Reconstruction Project (Phase II) and construction of Gwadar FTZ.

CRBC Vice President Wang Lijun detailed the relevant activities organized by NDRC and National Railway Administration, emphatically introduced the conditions of projects actively promoted by CRBC, and reported the latest progress of Karakorum Highway Reconstruction Project (Phase II).

Counselor Wang Zhihua noted that, as the first batch of enterprises setting foot in Pakistan, CCCC and CRBC shoulder important responsibilities for the head and tail projects (Karakorum Highway Reconstruction Project (Phase II) and construction of Gwadar FTZ) along the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. He also noted that Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office of Chinese Embassy to Pakistan will continue to lend support for the production and operation activities of CCCC and CRBC in Pakistan, and hoped that CCCC and CRBC could forge ahead to make more contributions to the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
